It’s finally spring in the north, so I celebrated today by wearing the dress I picked up for The Great Gatsby premier. I’m in Wisconsin visiting my significant other for his last semester at college, and I must say, the Northland campus is incredibly beautiful.

Welcome to Minnesota, where even though it’s Spring everywhere else, it’s still a little insane most days not to wear a heavy winter coat outside.
However, it’s nice to be able to do my outfit of the day shoots outside again.
I’m going to be in Florida for most of the next month, and hopefully I’ll be able to bring my tripod with me - but if not, don’t expect a whole ton of outfit of the days. I am also contemplating starting up a vlogchannel for hauls and something I’m thinking about calling Broke Girl Fashion Tips. Thoughts?
I do this about once a year. These are the transformations my hair has taken through the past year, and I think it’s kind of fascinating to watch as my personal style evolves as well.
It’s been an interesting year for my hair.
I’m pretty obsessed with this casual take on a pleated maxi. Pair with a neutral sweater and flat lace up boots for a look that screams ‘laid back cool.’ Via Doris Anne

This is probably the most simple outfit/make-up I’ve worn in awhile, but I’m fairly comfortable in it and I feel like I don’t always need to be wearing something outlandish and fancy in order to be beautiful.
What’s black, white, and yellow all over? Elizabeth of Delightfully Tacky’s darling ensemble! Working from black and white with a pop of color, she is literally elevating this trend to new heights. Plus, polka dots are an absolutely timeless print. Everything about this look is spot on!

Delightfully Tacky has been an inspiration to me since before I ever started An Abstract Grace, and I am so entirely in love with this outfit. It’s gorgeous, and classy, and I love the edge the boots and the background bring to it.
Whenever I see Elizabeth on my dashboard, I make grabby hands and whine something along the lines of, ‘be my friend and show me your ways!!’
